Richard Bartlett "Ricky" Schroder, Jr. is formerly known as Ricky Schroder. He is acknowledged as an American actor and director.  In 1979 He debuted for the first time in movie “The Champ”, on the sitcom silver spoon he was going to be a child actor. Soon after he was casted on adult roles in western miniseries in 1989, “Lonesome Dove” and the crime-drama series “NYPD Blue”. In VH1’s 100 Greatest Kid Stars list He was ranked #18 and in the 100 Greatest Teen Stars list #33.

Schroder, was fortunate as soon as his debut movie was big hit he was honored with a Golden Globe award in 1980 for Best New Male Star of the Year in a Motion Picture entitled “The Champ”. After winning the award, Schroder embarked on a 3-month publicity tour around the globe, meeting the Pope and Queen of England. In order to entirely focus in movie career his parents removed him from school in his third grade.

Schroder won for Director of the Year at the 2005 CMT Music award.In 2009, he came up with adventure horror film Hellhounds. He owns his own production company and has produced “Starting Strong”, “Our Wild Hearts” and “The Fighting season”.

Born on April 13, 1970, Schroder is in the age of 46 years. He grew up in Staten Island. He stands tall with the height of 5 feet 10 inch. He is of white ethnicity. Talking about his personal life, while filming for a movie in Canada where he met student named Andrea Bernard. He fell instantly for her and made her girlfriend. They got married in September 26, 1992. His wife works as an interior designer. On September 13, 2016 it was declared that Andrea had filed for divorce weeks before their 24th anniversary though it hasn’t officially confirmed. It’s like a trend every year more and more celebrities admits being gay but it isn’t the case of Schroder, this celebrity ever said so. He has an estimated net worth of $8 million.
