Casey Neistat is an American filmmaker, YouTube personality, and vlogger. He is the co-founder of social media company Beme. Collaborated with his brother he has been broadcasting HBO series The Neistat Brothers. His YouTube channel has reached more than 5.6 million by November 2016.
Neistat was born as Casey Owen Neistat on March 25, 1981, which makes him age 35 years old. He is born to parents Amy and Barry Neistat. He couldn’t concentrate on his studies so he dropped out of Ledyard High School. For 3 years he lived with his friend in a trailer park. To earn livelihood he worked as a dishwasher at a restaurant and was a short order cook. He moved to New York City and got his 1st job as a bike messenger. In the mid of 2001, he worked with his brother and made some miniseries of movies about the artist's sculptures, installations. In 2003, he got his 1st international exposure for a 3-minute film entitled iPod's Dirty Secret. It received national media attention and brought broad attention to Apple's policy towards iPod battery replacements. On September 20, 2003, it was posted to the Internet. It quickly fascinated media attention and the controversy arose.
In 2004, with his brother, he produced a film series titled Science Experiments. It was a 15-minute series which featured many short movies documented science experiments. Eventually, it became popular and was featured in the Creative Times 59th Minute program. In July 2008, HBO bought 8 episode of the series The Neistat Brothers for $2 million only. On February 17, 2010, he uploaded a video about when to pull the emergency brake cord.

Further, he made a video comically riding his bike in the lane crashing into various obstructions and supporting the argument about that lanes aren't the safest at all times. In 2014, Neistat was listed on New Media Rockstar Top 100 Channels; it was ranked at #82. He stated that he sees his vlogs more as a forum. He posted a video “Snowboarding with the NYPD” it is about 2-minute, 41-seconds. It went viral, within 24 hours it amassed more than 6.5 million views on YouTube. On September 8, 2016, he won "New Media Star" Man of the Year Award. After, he published a vlog titled "The $21,000 first class airplane seat”. Currently, it is the most viewed video on Neistat's channel with more than 25.1 million views. He also directs television commercial for Google, Nike, Mercedes-Benz, and Samsung.
He is popular on his social sites, Twitter and Instagram. He is said to have an amazing haircut which is evident from comments in his pictures. Often he posts videos of his workout in the Instagram account. With his girlfriend Robin Harris he had a son, Owen. He was dating her for years. Later he got married to Candice Pool. His wife is seen acting in various many of his projects. They have children together and have a happy family. To date, he has no affairs. According to the reports, his net worth is estimated to be $12 million. He owns a couple of luxurious cars and house across the United States.
