Stanley Weber is a skilled French actor and theater director. Born on 13 July 1986 in Paris/France to mother Christine and father Jacques Weber. He grew up with sister Kim and brother Tommy. He took his 1st acting classes at Cours Florent. He got enrolled in the “Conservatoire national superieur d’art dramatique”. Also, he studied at London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
He is said to be an actor who can easily portray any roles he is casted for. Stanley Weber is known for his acting in the television series Borgia as Juan Borgia and for his roles in the films “Violette”, “The first day of the rest of your life” and “Therese Desqueyroux”. In 2007 Weber started his career in the TV movie “Le vrai coupable”. He was casted for the French movie “Figaro”, directed by his father Jacques. He also starred in “La dame de Monsoreau”, “Qu’est-ce qu’on fait?”, “Pieds nus sur les limaces”, “La banda Picasso”, “Cheba Louisa”, “Le maillot de bain”, “Two Black Coffees” and also in “La clinique du docteur Blanche” in which he portrayed doctor Emile Blanche.
In 2013 he was the leading role alongside Karen Gillian in “Not another Happy Ending”. Stanley Weber appeared in “Any Human Heart” alongside the British actors Tobias Menzies and Sam Claflin. He was also casted for “The Hollow Crown” as Duke of Orleans, co-starring with UK-star Tom Hiddelston as King Henry IV.
In 2016 he was casted for “Let Me Go” and in the Geman production “Paula”. The French actor was acquired to play the The Comte St.
the The Comte St. Germain in the 2nd series of “Outlander”, the TV time traveller series broadcasted by STARZ.
In 2016 he and the other cast members of Outlander won the Satellite award for “Best Television Ensemble“.
In 2017 he played alongside the actors Richard Armitage (“Thorin Oakwood” in “The Hobbit”), Jon Bernthal (“The punisher” in series “Daredevil” and Tom Holland (“Spiderman: Homecoming”) in the impressive medieval film “Pilgrimage” which is based on a true story. And later in 2017 he will be seen in TV series “Britannia” with Kelly Reilly (Mary Watson in “Sherlock Holmes”).
Apart from these movies he directed for the theater “Le Chevalier de la lune” and “Comment prendre 5 ans en l’espace de 2 h d’avion?” It was his recommendable theater works. He was also seen in the plays “Le Mal à dire”, “Anna Christie”, “César” , “Fanny” , “Marius” and many more.
