He is an American professional baseball player who is currently playing for Washington Nations (WN). He has appeared in left field and at designated hitter. Later, The Toronto Blue Jays choose him to play in the 3rd round; later he started his 1st professional season with hit .312 with 7 home runs and 50 runs batted in 70 games. Then he got promoted to High-A Dunedin Blue Jays where he batted .313 with 12 home runs, 84 RBI in 126 games. In 2006, at the major league level, he hit .367 with 2 home runs and 8 RBI. In the minors, Lind batted only .330 with 24 home runs.
Hard work paid off, for his effort in the game he was named 2006 Eastern League MVP. His 2007 season ended with a .
.238 batting average with 11 homers plus 48 RBI. His 2008 season was accomplished by hitting .282 with 9 homers and 40 RBI. The 2009 season completed with 35 HR, 114 RBI, and the batting average of .305, 46 doubles with 179 hits. During his 2010, 11 and 12 seasons he couldn’t perform so well in few games but he bounced back in 2013 for the Blue Jays. His 2013’s season ended with hit .288 has 23 home runs, and 67 RBI. Furthermore, he upgraded himself and improved his batting average. The season ended with a 6 home runs,321 batting average, and in 96 games had 40 RBI. He was traded to Milwaukee Brewers, where he played in 149 games in 2015 and batted .277 with 20 home runs, 87 RBI. After playing for Brewers, he signed a year contract with Washington Nations (WN) on February 15, 2017.
